John Ratcliffe Makes Final Campaign Push
Former U.S. Attorney is Confident the Electorate is Ready for Change
ROCKWALL, TEXAS – Ahead of Tuesday’s Republican Primary, John Ratcliffe remains active on the campaign trail in his bid to unseat 17 term incumbent Ralph Hall.
On Saturday, over 25 supporters joined the Ratcliffe family to participate in the Rockwall High School 5k Run which benefited its senior scholarship fund. “I was thrilled to see such a strong turnout,” Ratcliffe said. “I can’t thank everyone enough for supporting my campaign and a great cause.”
On Monday the Ratcliffe Campaign will make a final district-wide swing. Starting with a tour of a manufacturing plant in Texarkana in the morning, Ratcliffe will head west with scheduled meet and greets in Sulphur Springs and Rockwall.
On Tuesday, John and his wife Michele will vote at Pullen Elementary School in Heath, TX around 8 am. That evening, they will host an election night event at their home, and expect close to 100 family, friends and supporters to attend.
Since filing on December 9th, John Ratcliffe quickly emerged as the most credible challenger Hall has ever faced. His background as a former U.S. Attorney and eight year Texas mayor gave him with a proven, conservative record to run on. Endorsements like that of the Dallas Morning News further buoyed his campaign, which has enjoyed a groundswell of grassroots support and fundraising success.
“I’ve crisscrossed this district with a positive, solutions-oriented message about restoring conservative values, and the response has been overwhelming,” Ratcliffe said. “I’m confident that on Tuesday a majority of voters will decide we need to send new leadership to Washington.”
