Rockwall, TX – Congressman John Ratcliffe’s proven, conservative record was rewarded by the Club for Growth this week with a perfect 100 rating – putting him first out of 435 members of Congress.
The ratings are based on 29 votes in the House of Representatives on important issues such as repealing Obamacare, repealing the Death Tax, stopping the EPA’s war on Texas energy, and supporting the REINS Act to allow Congress to block harmful regulations from going into effect.
Ratcliffe will also receive the group’s Defender of Economic Freedom Award.
Ratcliffe is appreciative, but reinforced that much hard work remains to be done. “The fight to retake the soul of our country is about much more than ratings and awards,” Ratcliffe said. “It’s about being a principled and unwavering conservative willing to stand up to the powerful special interests that want to erode our Constitution and destroy the moral fabric of our society.”
